Installation Guide

For 3.5″ SATA Drives: Must use the 12V power adapter. USB power alone cannot run 3.5″ drives. Plug the supply into a wall outlet, then connect to the DC port.For 2.5″ SATA Drives: Should work via USB power alone. Ensure the USB cable is fully inserted into a USB 3.0 port. Avoid USB hubs

What types of drives are compatible with this hard drive adapter?

The drive is connected but does not appear on my computer.

Check that the drive is fully inserted and powered. New drives may need to be initialized in your system’s disk management utility. Drives from encrypted

enclosures or using self-encryption may require reformatting.
